Subscription, Cancellation & Auto-Renewal
Last updated: May 9, 2026
BabyLog offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. This page explains how Pro is billed and how to cancel.
How Pro is billed
- Pro is sold as an auto-renewable subscription through the Apple App Store.
- The price, billing period (monthly or yearly), and any free-trial length are shown to you on the purchase screen before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price shown for the renewal.
- Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep Pro until then, and you are not charged again.
Apple App Store (iOS / macOS)
- Open Settings on your device.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap BabyLog, then Cancel Subscription.
Or follow Apple's full instructions: How to cancel a subscription from Apple.
Manage your subscription
You can also manage your BabyLog subscription from within the app:
- Open Settings → Subscription. The app links to your Apple subscription management page.
What happens after cancellation
- You keep Pro features until the end of the current paid period.
- After that, your account drops to the free tier. Your data is not deleted — your records, photos, and history remain in your account.
- Some Pro-only features are no longer accessible. See our Refund Policy if you need a refund.
Account deletion (different from cancellation)
Cancelling Pro stops billing. Deleting your account permanently removes your data. To delete your account:
- Open the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, and follow the prompts.
- Once confirmed, your data is removed within 30 days from active systems and within 90 days from backups.
If you also have an active subscription, cancel it separately in the App Store as described above. Deleting your BabyLog account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
