Children's Information Notice
Last updated: May 9, 2026
BabyLog is a tool for parents and guardians to log information about their children. This notice explains how we treat information about children specifically.
Who uses BabyLog
- BabyLog accounts are held by adults (18+).
- Children do not sign up, do not log in, and do not interact with the Services directly.
- If you are a child or a minor below the age required in your jurisdiction, do not use BabyLog.
Information about children
When you use BabyLog as a parent or guardian, you may add information about your child, including:
- Name, gender, birth date, premature status.
- Photos.
- Activity records (feeding, sleep, diaper, growth, medications, vaccinations, food, allergies, free-text notes).
You provide this information voluntarily, on behalf of your child, to use the Services. We treat it as personal information belonging to that child and apply the protections described in our Privacy Policy, plus the points below.
We do not
- Sell or rent information about children.
- Use information about children for advertising or to build cross-app advertising profiles.
- Share information about children with third parties except as needed to operate the Services or as required by law.
Sharing within a family
Information about a child is shared with members of the family — the account holder and any invited family members. Family roles determine who can edit, delete, or invite others. The account owner is responsible for who they invite.
Parental rights and deletion
As the parent or guardian using BabyLog on behalf of your child, you may at any time:
- View, correct, or delete information about your child from within the app.
- Delete the child's profile entirely. Once deleted, data is removed within 30 days from active systems and within 90 days from backups.
- Delete your account, which removes all child profiles and data you control.
- Email support@babylog.ai for help with any of the above.
Regulatory note
BabyLog is not directed at children and is not a "child-directed" service under laws such as COPPA (United States) or the GDPR's child-specific provisions. The information processed about children comes from a parent or guardian using the Services for their own family.
If you believe a child has used the Services without parental consent, contact us at support@babylog.ai and we will investigate and remove the account.
